West Star Aviation announces the promotion of Ray Sharp to director of maintenance at its East Alton, IL (ALN), facility, overseeing all maintenance programs. Sharp’s diverse experience includes working with a wide range of airframes, such as Falcon, Hawker, Lear, Cessna, Challenger and Gulfstream.

West Star Aviation Academy (WSAA), established in January 2024 by West Star Aviation in partnership with Southwestern Illinois College (SWIC), celebrates the graduation of its inaugural class in the presence of employees, families, community members and industry leaders. West Star is a provider of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services to the business-aviation industry, providing maintenance, modification and other services to aviation customers. Jet East provides MRO services, as well, and focuses on supporting fractional and managed fleet operators.

West Star Aviation announces the promotion of Ricky Myers to Technical Sales manager for Falcon at its East Alton, IL (ALN), facility.  Myers will be responsible for targeting aircraft maintenance opportunities to identify sales leads and providing customers and regional sales managers with technical analysis for all Falcon projects.
