Liberty University announces it has been awarded a grant from Boeing to support the construction of a public pavilion on the site of the university’s planned DC-8 Overlook at Preston Glenn Field at Lynchburg Regional Airport. The DC-8, donated to Liberty by Samaritan’s Purse, was the last flying U.S.-registered DC-8 before it was retired in December after more than 60 years of service and nearly a decade of impactful global relief missions.

Michelin North America, Inc. and Boeing sign a renewal of an authorized distribution agreement, extending the current agreement through December 2028. The agreement reaffirms Boeing Distribution as a global distributor for Michelin’s full line of bias and radial tires, as well as tubes supporting the business, commercial, regional, military and general-aviation markets.
