West Star Aviation completes its 2021 ELP Outreach Program at the Grand Junction, CO (GJT), facility, aiding a local middle school with two solar charging stations. West Star works in correlation with other local supporting companies to design, build and fund environmental projects in the area.

West Star Aviation Implements Corridor Go Via iPads to Untether Technicians and Improve Shop Floor Efficiency

As part of a company-wide objective to improve efficiency and further reduce downtimes, West Star Aviation implements the Corridor Go program that will put custom-configured iPads in the hands of over 600 technicians. The new technology will improve the scaling of the overall work process on the shop floor, leading to a simpler way of work.

West Star Aviation announces it has been authorized to install the Pro Line Fusion system in Challenger 604 aircraft. As an Authorized Collins Aerospace Dealer, the upgrade is available at any of West Star's four full-service locations: Grand Junction, CO (GJT); East Alton, IL (ALN); Chattanooga, TN (CHA); and Perryville, MO (PCD).

West Star Aviation is awarded two AMT Gold Awards of Excellence for its East Alton, IL (ALN), and Grand Junction, CO (GJT), facilities, along with two Diamond Awards of Excellence at its Denver, CO (APA), and Perryville, MO (PCD), locations. These were first-time awards for each facility, except PCD, which was awarded for the second consecutive year.

West Star Aviation announces it has been awarded the FAA Diamond Award of Excellence for completing specialized training pertaining to aviation maintenance, safety, and FAA rules at its Perryville, MO (PCD) facility. This is the second year in a row that this location has been awarded the prestigious award.

West Star announces that its Perryville, MO (PCD), location has been FAA-approved as a Class 4 Repair Station. The facility is one of four full-service West Star locations. With the new approval, all four locations are now FAA-approved as Class 4, which certifies them to service larger sheet-metal airframes, as well as most major corporate airframes and models.
