All West Star Aviation Satellite Locations Awarded FAA Diamond Award of Excellence
West Star Aviation announces it has been awarded the 2021 FAA Diamond Award of Excellence for completing specialized training pertaining to aviation maintenance, safety and FAA rules at all five of its satellite facilities located in Denver, CO (APA); Chicago, IL (PWK); Houston, TX (CXO); Minneapolis, MN (MSP); and Aspen, CO (ASE). This is the first year of accomplishment for four of the locations (ASE, PWK, CXO and MSP) and the third year in a row APA has been awarded the prestigious honor.

West Star Aviation announces that all four of its main, full-services locations at Chattanooga, TN (CHA); Grand Junction, CO (GJT); Perryville, MO (PCD); and East Alton, IL (ALN) have been awarded the FAA Diamond Award of Excellence for completing AMT specialized training pertaining to aviation maintenance, safety and FAA rules. This is the first year that three of the locations (ALN, GJT and CHA) have been awarded the prestigious honor, while PCD has been awarded several years in a row.
West Star Aviation Paints First Embraer Lineage at Chattanooga Location
West Star Aviation announces it has completed its first paint project of an Embraer Lineage aircraft at its Chattanooga, TN (CHA), location, one of its four full-service facilities. The aircraft was received on Oct. 30 and delivered back to the customer on Dec. 4. West Star’s CHA paint hangar is one of only a few MROs that can facilitate the sizable lineage aircraft.

West Star Aviation, State of Tennessee Continue to Invest in Expansion at Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport
In conjunction with the state of Tennessee and the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport (CHA), West Star Aviation announces plans for a major facility expansion at its (CHA) location. The plans include a new hangar complex that will consist of 40,000 square feet of active hangar space and an additional 17,000 square feet of shop and support space. The project is funded in part by a grant from the State of Tennessee and continues to focus on the development of jobs and improving the quality of life of employees and the surrounding community.
