West Star Aviation Expands Embraer Service Capabilities with Ram Air Turbine (RAT) Test Tooling

West Star Aviation announces it has acquired the ram air turbine (RAT) tooling required for the 24-month check on the Legacy 450/500 airframe. As of November 2017, West Star has completed two 24-month inspections on Legacy 500 aircraft and project increased numbers as its service center capabilities grow.

"We are thrilled to offer on-site availability of the RAT testing equipment without a rental charge to our customers.
