West Star Aviation Announces Update on State-of-the-Art Paint Hangar Construction at CHA
West Star Aviation announces an update on the construction of a 48,380-square-foot paint facility at its Chattanooga, TN, location with an anticipated completion date for September 2018. The new Chattanooga paint facility that recently broke ground will be large enough to house aircraft up to and including Embraer Lineage 1000. It will also feature an additional strip and prep facility.
Additional expansion plans for West Star's CHA location include a 90,600 square-foot office, shop and maintenance hangar.
The CHA facility also recently adjusted its second shift to better assist with the new facility and current demand at this location. These changes will include four 10-hour shifts of 2pm-12:30am Monday through Thursday. The first and weekend shifts will remain the same.
