AeroParts & Supply Southwest, Inc. (APSS) has completed a facility move to an upgraded hangar and shop space located at Dallas Executive Airport (RBD), and is now fully operational. The well-established General Aviation parts, supply and repair company celebrated their grand opening of the facility in early September.

Ahead of this year’s NBAA-BACE, Flying Colours Corp. has reached a significant milestone as its Peterborough facility re-delivered its one hundredth major retrofit of a Bombardier Challenger model. The Bombardier Challenger 604, delivered in the first week of October, underwent a major overhaul of the cabin, avionics, connectivity and fuselage. Minor maintenance was conducted as the same aircraft had undergone a 96 month check at the Flying Colours Canadian headquarters just over a year ago for its previous owner.

BRS Aerospace has engaged Wichita State University's National Institute for Aviation Research (WSU-NIAR) to develop testing protocols for evaluating the safety and performance of aircraft parachute recovery systems in General Aviation (GA) and Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) aircraft.

Aviation test equipment manufacturer, ATEQ Aviation, has recently acquired a Chicago-based manufacturing company. Since 2002, Cobra Systems, Inc. has specialized in test adapters and kits for all aircraft. Founded in 2008, ATEQ Aviation is the newest of ATEQ Group’s three divisions. Aviation takes its place alongside the Leak Testing and Tire Pressure Monitoring Tools divisions. ATEQ Aviation has three major test equipment lines which include Battery Testers, Resistance Testers, and its flagship product line – Pitot Static Test Kits.
