Advanced Helicopter Services announces the recent acquisition of Cascade Airframe Repair, a longtime helicopter repair services company based at Boeing Field in Seattle, WA.  The company will remain at Boeing Field and will continue to offer comprehensive helicopter repair and maintenance service

Despite the cold weather and after a decade of inaction, the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA’s) rulemaking process thawed; the agency released its long-pending aircraft repair station regulations on Jan. 3, 2014.

Kitchener Aero Avionics (KAAV) announces the addition of an FAA STC for its “Glass-Cockpit” upgrade to the Eurocopter EC-120 helicopter.

This STC has been granted under FAA Project No. ST07457NY-R.

AAR’s aircraft maintenance operation in Lake Charles has received certification from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) to work on European aircraft. It’s the latest milestone for the facility, which opened in September and specializes in wide-body aircraft.
