JetHQ continues its global aircraft expansion, adding an experienced aviation professional to meet the needs of clients in Mexico and Latin America. The aircraft transaction and brokerage company announces that Gabriela Perez de Leon has joined the team as Sales director, based in and overseeing Mexico. Perez de Leon will work with vice president of Sales, Chris Morales, who currently covers Latin America.

Avant Aerospace relocates from Dallas, TX, to hangar #12 at the St. Louis Downtown Airport (KCPS) in close proximity to West Star’s full-service MRO location at East Alton, IL. Suzanne Markle, president and CEO of Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics, is appointed as a member of a newly formed advisory board tasked with encouraging women’s involvement in the aviation industry. U.S. Secretary of Transportation, Elaine L. Chao, announced Markle’s appointment along with other board members to the new Women in Aviation Advisory Board (WIAAB). WIAAB’s mission is to assess education, training, mentorship opportunities, outreach and recruitment of women into the aviation industry.

King Aerospace has outgrown its four hangars’ 200,000 square feet of space at the 2,900-acre Ardmore Industrial Airpark, northeast of Ardmore, OK, and is finalizing plans to build a new hangar that will add 90,000 square feet, a 45 percent increase. The additional footage will accommodate multiple large aircraft and shop facilities that will support large aircraft interior projects. Construction could take a year to 15 months.
