Housing for CCCC’s Aviation Maintenance Technology Students Now Open at Bridgewater State University

Bridgewater State University (BSU) President Fred Clark (left) shakes Cape Cod Community College (CCCC) President John Cox’s hand as President Cox raises the agreement both just signed, giving CCCC students in the Aviation Maintenance program access to student housing on the BSU campus. This is the first such agreement for Cape Cod CC and Bridgewater State, creating a true “destination program” for CCCC.

In a first-ever opportunity for students at Cape Cod Community College, on-site housing at Bridgewater State University is made available to students in CCCC’s Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) program. Students entering the program this fall will have the option to stay in an on-campus co-educational dorm and purchase an on-site meal plan if they wish.
Satair Makes Strategic Investment to Boost UK Operations

Satair’s UK operation opens of a brand new facility close to London’s Heathrow Airport, benefitting from a multi-million pound investment program.  The new facility, at Space Waye, North Feltham Trading Estate, became fully operational on March 19 and has six times the area and 11 times the cubic capacity of the previous Heston, Middlesex, facility which Satair occupied for almost 30 years.
RUAG Fulfills 8C Check on Bombardier Global Express XRS Combined with Communication Technology Upgrade

RUAG Aviation completes an 8C check on a Bombardier Global Express XRS to full customer satisfaction. The downtime for the heavy maintenance inspection was optimized and included an upgrade to Satcom and WiFi communication technology. The project was completed at the aircraft services provider’s facilities at Munich-Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany. RUAG Aviation is a Bombardier Authorized Service Center.

RUAG Aviation fulfills a C-Check on a Dassault Falcon 7X aircraft three weeks earlier than planned, and to full customer satisfaction. The heavy maintenance project also includes additional aircraft services for optimizing the expected downtime. The timely fulfillment of the project enabled the Hong Kong-based customer to resume its aircraft’s operations in advance of expectations. The Falcon 7X C-Check was performed by the RUAG Aviation team at its Dassault Authorized Service Center (ASC) facilities in Geneva, Switzerland.
