NBAA BACE
I'm in Las Vegas attending NBAA BACE 2021. Today is Wednesday, October 13, and we're getting ready for the second day of the show.
Despite the challenges our industry has faced over the past year and a half, NBAA BACE had a good first day from my perspective. People were ready to meet face-to-face again and get business done! While NBAA's decision to require full COVID-19 vaccination to attend or exhibit at BACE was controversial to many in the industry, I must say it was a fairly easy process to get in to the show. After passing an initial checkpoint to show proof of vaccination, masks were no longer required. Attendees and exhibitors could conduct business like they did before COVID-19 turned things upside down in early 2020.
It has been great catching up with everyone at NBAA. I've had opportunities to talk to exhibitors and learn about their latest products and services. I've also been fortunate to meet quite a few readers and learn about what they are doing.
We have two more days here at NBAA BACE. If today's and tomorrow's attendance is anywhere near yesterday's, I would say it was a success despite all of the challenges.
We're looking forward to HAI HELI-EXPO March 7-10 in Dallas!
