Position Overview:
StandardAero is seeking an entry-level Aircraft Mechanic to join our team. This role offers varied responsibilities in logistics, inventory management, health and safety procedures, with the opportunity to gain experience and expertise in aircraft maintenance. We are looking for candidates who possess a strong interest in aviation and are eager to learn and grow within the industry.
Responsibilities:

  • Assist with logistics operations related to aircraft maintenance activities.
  • Provide assistance with inventory management and parts handling.
  • Support in implementing our Health Safety Committee’s Emergency Action Plan.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Support maintenance technicians in various tasks as needed.
  • Learn and develop skills in aircraft maintenance procedures.
  • Perform administrative duties including data entry and documentation.
  • Undertake additional duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • Strong interest in aviation and willingness to learn.
  • Basic understanding of aircraft and aviation principles.
  • Ability to multitask and perform various responsibilities effectively.
  • Experience with inventory control systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially MS Excel.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based file sharing tools is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proven ability to oversee multiple tasks with meticulous attention to detail.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in aviation or related field preferred.
