Avionics Technician

Avionics Technician will perform heavy mod work on King Airs, Dash-8's and Beech1900s. Looking to employ individuals for the next 6-9 months. Avionics Technician is responsible for installation, troubleshooting and repair, and maintenance of electronic systems on Dash-8 and KingAir Aircraft. This includes basic soldering and harness build-up, fault isolation and repair, wire stripping and crimping.Work Environment: Individuals will be working in a hangar environment and will be in a MRO type environment. Individuals will work off the production schedule to include work cards where they will be required to complete work in a designated time frame.Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am-5pm with a 1 hour lunch break, may add Saturday to schedule until they are caught up with workload.Qualifications:

  • 5 years of avionics experience
  • A&P license preferred
  • Dash-8 or Kingair experience preferred
  • Must be eligible for Secret clearance
  • Experience in a MOD facility and comfortable performing modification work
  • Must have own tools

Pay Rate: 10+ years of experience: $18.50 taxed+ $100/daily per diem=$31 ($18.50/12.50)OT: $31/hour fully taxed, 10-15 hours OT (Currently, the are working 5-10's and may start working Saturday's) About Aerotek: We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
