If you take pride in your work, want a challenge that inspires your best ideas, and enjoy being part of a winning team, this is the place for you.We are currently searching for the right talent to fill this opportunity: Product Repair Mod Tech C(U.S. Citizenship Required*)Hurlburt Field, FL2018-6911 Responsibilities:•Perform end-of-runway, post-flight, preflight, thru-flight, and phase inspections. •Perform integrated combat turns and hot pit refuels. •Advise on problems maintaining, servicing, and inspecting aircraft and related aerospace equipment. •Use technical data to diagnose and solve maintenance problems on aircraft systems. •Interpret and advise on maintenance procedures and policies to repair aircraft and related equipment. •Troubleshoot and maintain aircraft structures, systems, components, and related equipment. •Remove and install aircraft components. •Conduct functional tests of repaired components and systems. •Adjust, align, and rig aircraft systems. •Supervise and perform aircraft jacking, lifting, and towing operations. •Perform aircraft and component operational checks. •Interpret inspection findings and determine adequacy of corrective actions. •Inspect and check components for clearances, tolerances, proper installation, and operation. •Inspect and operate powered and non-powered aerospace ground equipment. •Inspect and identify aircraft corrosion for prevention and repair. •Review maintenance forms, aircraft records, automated maintenance data systems, and historical reports to ensure complete documentation. •Inventory and maintain aircraft equipment. •Assemble, disassemble, and/or modify systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes in accordance with engineering drawings, technical publication, and retrofit drawings. •Oversee assembly, disassembly or overhaul.•Travel: About 10% of time for both domestic and international.•2nd shift position: 2:00-12:30pm
Qualification:•Required #8211; able to obtain Secret clearance.*U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract. Education and Experience: •High school diploma or GED and typically 4 or more years#8217; related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
