INGENIO Aerospace Appoints First-Ever Chief Operating Officer

INGENIO Aerospace (INGENIO), a provider in innovative product design and manufacturing for business, commercial and military aviation, announces the appointment of Simon Lafrenière as chief operating officer (COO). Lafrenière's mandate is to drive INGENIO’s operations and leverage the company’s commitment to continuous innovation in the design and manufacturing of electrical-mechanical aircraft cockpit and cabin solutions.

Lafrenière holds an MBA from HEC Montréal and a BEng in aeronautics from Université de Sherbrooke. In addition to 23 years of industry experience, his strengths include strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, business transformation, and project management. He worked at Bombardier for 15 years, holding several management titles, including manager of new product development in the Challenger programs. In that role, his accomplishments included the on-time delivery of the first Challenger 350.
