Elliott Aviation Hires Mike Ménard as Vice President of Operations at Moline Headquarters

Elliott Aviation, a supplier of aviation MRO services, hires Mike Ménard as vice president of Operations at its headquarters in Moline, IL (KMLI). With over 20 years of business aviation aviation experience, Ménard has served as vice president at StandardAero, Dassault Aircraft Services and, most recently, Ace Precision Machining.

Ménard will oversee operations at Elliott Aviation’s headquarters in Moline, IL, supervising employees in its jet service, King Air service, avionics, paint, interior and accessory departments.

A graduate of the Royal Military College of Canada, Ménard started his aviation career with the Royal Canadian Air Force as an aircraft maintenance officer in positions ranging from avionics support and IT at 412 Squadron to deputy aircraft engineering officer for the RCAF’s CT-114 Tutor aircraft fleet. He started his corporate aviation career at StandardAero as director of Engineering for the PT6 business unit and capped off his 15-year tenure with the company spending  six years as vice president and general manager of its Springfield, IL (KSPI), business aviation service center. As vice president and general manager of Dassault Aircraft Services, Ménard was responsible for the Wilmington, DE (KILG), service center as well as three satellite locations, an FBO and a structural repair facility.  In that capacity, he helped improve customer satisfaction and on-time deliveries through project and process improvements.

Ménard is a dual citizen of Canada and the US. He is fluent in both English and French.
