Consolidated Fuel Systems™ Acquires Great Planes Fuel Metering

Consolidated Fuel Systems announces the acquisition of Great Planes Fuel Metering, Inc. The acquisition will enable Consolidated Fuel Systems to offer a more comprehensive product offering to better serve its customers and expand into new markets.

Started in 2007 by Dave Dewell, Great Planes provides high-quality overhauled fuel systems for the general-aviation industry as well as overhaul services on various fuel pumps and systems, with a unique expertise on fuel injection systems eligible on Continental™ engines. 

Consolidated Fuel Systems is a Class 1 FAA-approved Repair Station authorized to repair and overhaul Lear-Romec™ fuel pumps and fuel injection systems for Continental engines. The company has been an affiliated brand of the Tempest Aero Group® since 2015, providing overhauled fuel pumps and fuel injection systems.
