Avionics Industry Veteran Mark Francetic Joins SoCal Jets, Inc. Sales Team

Industry veteran Mark Francetic joins the SoCal Jets sales team. Francetic possesses more than 35 years of experience in avionics systems, integration sales and service. In recent years, Francetic has led the industry in delivering presentations regarding FANS, ADS-B and TCAS 7.1 solutions all across the United States, Canada and Mexico.

A holder of an A&P since 1996, Francetic has managed several avionics shops and possesses extensive knowledge of avionics systems. He has also led and assisted in STC development programs on FANS and ADS-B with companies such as Honeywell, ACSS, SAFRAN Engineering and Rockwell Collins.

During the course of his career, Francetic has utilized his sales background, technical experience, dedicated customer service practices and team management skills to consistently generate increased corporate revenue.

In his most recent position prior to joining SoCal Jets, Francetic served as Avionics regional sales manager for Las Vegas, NV-based Duncan Aviation for four years. In this role, Francetic fostered and developed key customer contacts not only in the Western U.S., but also in Mexico and Canada. He created key business plans for NextGen programs and initiated Next-Gen conferences for FANS 1A+ and ADS-B with Honeywell, Rockwell Collins, ACSS and SAFRAN Engineering. Prior to this role, Francetic served as Avionics manager for Duncan Aviation for 18 years. Among many other accomplishments, he served as chairman of Duncan Aviation’s NextGen Program Development Team and oversaw the only section in company history to exceed budgetary goals for 15 straight years.

A graduate of Ferris State University, Francetic has also worked for Precision Avionics/Avionics & Instruments, Tiger Air, EG&G Energy Measurements, Union Pacific Railroad and Van Nuys-based Beechcraft West, where he first launched his professional career in 1980.
