Performs maintenance, repairs, inspections, and alterations of Company operated aircraft and articles as assigned with an objective to attain full FAA A P certification and/or qualifying experience to move to a Part 135 field base maintenance position in two years. Responsibilities
- Assist in the repair, modification, and inspection of engines, components, and airframes under the direction of a Licensed Airframe Power plant Mechanic (A P) (Mechanics Certificate)

- Assist in the testing of repaired aircraft systems for proper performance

- Assist in the cleaning, maintenance and lubricating and other routine maintenance of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and maintenance tooling under the direction of a Licensed A P (Mechanics Certificate)

- Ensures compliance with FAA regulations, manufactures recommendations, and Air Methodsrsquo; standards

- Prepares and maintains documentation related to work activities in accordance with regulations and Company policies

- Enters detailed maintenance records to paper work orders and AMMIS

5 Additional Job Requirements 90
- Provide timely on call availability during nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary
- Regular scheduled attendance
- Indicate the percentage of time spent traveling: 25 ndash; 50
- Periodic travel in support of Part 135 operations and company objectives will be expected.

Education Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three yearsrsquo; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Completion of two years of trade of vocational school (or equivalent work experience) preferred or currently enrolled and tracking to receive full A P certification within 12 months from a Part 147 school.
Skills
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to process complex systems and logically think through problems
- Basic working knowledge of FARs Parts 39, 43, 65, 91 135
- Proficiency in the use of hand tools applicable to performing aircraft inspections, repairs and alterations
- Knowledge of basic aircraft maintenance and basic understanding of composite structures and repairs
- Ability to be a team player with a professional attitude
- Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented and ability to prioritize
Computer Skills
- Intermediate with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Airframe and power plant License or enrolled and tracking to receive full A P certification within 12 months from a Part 147 school.

Pay Range
USD $18.35 - USD $22.94 /Hr.
