SkyTrac Systems Obtains ISAT-200 STC for the DHC-8

SkyTrac Systems announces that it has obtained a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the ISAT-200 on the DHC-8 100, 200 and 300 series aircrafts.

The Dash-8 STC in addition to the AML part-23 STC SkyTrac obtained earlier in 2012 gives a broad range of coverage in the fixed-wing market. The ISAT-200 provides a full range of flight following and SatCom capabilities for operators, and will be complemented by the release of the ISAT-200A later this year.

Kathleen Wallace, president and CEO commentes, “SkyTrac works very hard and expends time and resources to ensure STC’s are available for our products on popular airframe types.” This addition further expands SkyTrac’s extensive list of STCs for popular fixed and rotary wing aircraft from Transport Canada, Federal Aviation Administration, European Aviation Agency, and Agencia Nacional de Aviacao Civil.
