Pro Star Aviation Appoints Thomas Kennedy as Director of Maintenance
Pro Star Aviation, LLC announces the selection of Thomas Kennedy as director of maintenance (DOM).
In his new role, Kennedy will utilize his 27 years of experience to manage the day-to-day airframe maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) functions at Pro Star Aviation’s Londonderry, NH based facility at the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT).
As an FAA licensed Airframe and Power Plant graduate of George T. Baker Aviation School, Kennedy went on to earn his Airframe/Engine Engineer Certification from AST College in Perth, Scotland. While advancing his career, Kennedy held various positions from lead technician at British Midland Airways to director of maintenance at both Jet Aviation and Signature TechnicAir in Bedford, MA. His most recent position held was as Northeast Regional Engine Manager for Dallas Airmotive, Inc.
When accepting the position, Kennedy stated, “I am very excited to accept the position of director of maintenance at Pro Star Aviation as we look to expand the maintenance department for future growth with new product lines and services.”
Similarly, Pro Star’s GM of Aircraft Maintenance, Rich Leighton stated, “We are excited to have Tom on board. His diverse skills will enhance our MRO operations and put us in a good position for growth.”
In conjunction with this action, Pro Star’s Warren Egersheim will fill the new position of maintenance supervisor.
