Marietta, GA-based AeroSafe Products, Inc. announces that it has been appointed by Polychem of Chestnut Hills, NY as the Master Distributor for its Acrastrip 600 product for the worldwide aviation marketplace. Acrastrip 600 is an EPA Certified Green chemical product that is water based for the flushing of paint lines and cleanup of paint gun parts. It’s water-based and capable of the removal of uncured sealants as well as all types of paints. Acrastrip 600 is a water-based replacement for MEK, MEPK, Acetone, Toluene and other hazardous solvents.

AeroSafe Products also announces it has been awarded a contract by United Airlines to supply it with all of its new engine wash equipment including AeroSafe’s Compressor Wash Units, unique patented Engine Wash Effluent Capture Systems and Engine Wash Probes. This equipment will be distributed throughout United’s maintenance bases including its five USA, Guam and Brazilian operations. These systems will satisfy the EPA’s concerns over the washing of engines and how the effluent is captured and disposed of.

AeroSafe Products has also completed the delivery of its P.A.S.S.®, Purogene Aircraft Sanitation Systems to Boeing Renton for its 737 production line and to the Everett plant for all of its widebody aircraft including all of its 787, 747 and P8 programs. This equipment blends Purogene and Activator for the disinfection and sanitation of all aircraft potable water systems. P.A.S.S. is now the standard for all of Boeing production and MRO facilities.
