JSSI® Names Raymond Weiser, Jr. to New Helicopter Specialist Role

Jet Support Services, Inc. (JSSI) announces it has engaged helicopter industry veteran Raymond Weiser, Jr. in a newly created position as Helicopter Program Specialist.

As Helicopter Program Specialist, Weiser will be responsible for developing and growing JSSI’s presence in the helicopter market by directing and supporting business development initiatives around the world.

Weiser began his Aviation career in the US Army, working on OH-58 (Bell 206) & UH-1H (Bell 205) helicopters at Fort Rucker, Alabama. Once on the civilian side, Ray soon excelled as an engine troubleshooter and maintenance inspector for service centers and corporate flight departments in New York and Connecticut. Weiser has more than 12 years’ experience as an OEM technical representative and product support specialist, while working for engine manufacturers, Turbomeca and Rolls-Royce. Most recently, Weiser was vice president of Sales and Business Development for an FAA Repair Station and parts distributor, EuroTec. Weiser has obtained an A&P license with Inspection Authorization and has extensive factory training authorizations for various fixed and rotary wing aircraft. Weiser was recently named to the Helicopter Association International (HAI) Technical Committee and as a member of the Mentoring Program sub-committee and has volunteered as technical advisor to the Niagara County Sheriff’s department Aviation Unit. In addition, Weiser has been active in the Tour Operators Program of Safety (TOPS) and is a member of the Westchester Aircraft Maintenance Association (WAMA) and Professional Aviation Maintenance Association (PAMA).
