ARGUS PARTNERS WITH THE INDEPENDENT FIXED BASE OPERATORS ASSOCIATION TO PROVIDE VALUABLE OFFERINGS TO ITS MEMBERSHIP
ARGUS International, Inc. (ARGUS) announces a new partnership with the Independent Fixed Base Operators Association (IFBOA) that will enable its membership to receive special pricing on its TRAQPak FBO tool and brand new Safety Management Systems (SMS) for MRO and FBO Course.
TRAQPak FBO is an Aircraft Activity Analysis and Market Intelligence reporting tool used by FBOs, fuel providers and other aviation service providers to analyze the current real time and historical trends of aircraft activity, and to make better and more efficient planning decisions. The SMS for MRO and FBO course provides the necessary theory and practical knowledge required to implement SMS in aviation maintenance organizations such as 14 CFR Part 145 Repair Stations, Fixed Based Operators (FBOs) or other non-certificated companies employing groups of airframe and powerplant mechanics.
IFBOA serves all types of General Aviation businesses; from charter operators, full service repair facilities, airports, and everything in between. They provide industry information, training and exclusive IFBOA membership benefits. “As an important organization within the aviation community, we are pleased to work with IFBOA to offer their membership discounted rates for some of our world-class tools and training,” says Joe Moeggenberg, President & CEO, ARGUS International, Inc. “IFBOA has proven that it continuously looks for opportunities that will help FBOs thrive. This partnership is a testament to their advocacy.”
SkyTrac Systems Introduces High Resolution Data for 1-Second Position Reporting
SkyTrac Systems has introduced High Resolution Data (HRD), a feature that provides highly accurate 1- second position reporting. The feature helps validate compliance with a variety of regulations and laws, including noise abatement procedures, restricted airspace, altitude restriction, prohibited airspace, military operations areas or international boundaries. HRD also helps with highly accurate and automated billing data that is easily integrated with current invoicing systems.
This feature utilizes unique data compression algorithms to supply high-fidelity positional data for extreme accuracy. The algorithms also ensure cost effectiveness in data transmission. The results of an aircraft’s flight path and total distance flown can be viewed in SkyWeb, SkyTrac’s web-based mapping and reporting system, and the feature has no effect on existing flight following systems.
“We are very excited about the possibilities this presents for the aviation community, as our tests have demonstrated just how accurate and valuable this feature really is,” comments SkyTrac president and CEO Malachi Nordine. “More and more operators are expressing a need for high fidelity flight data and now SkyTrac can provide them with just that.”
