ALPHABEAM™ LED Aircraft Light

Teledyne Microelectronic Technologies, a business unit of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated, announces it has expanded the Parts Manufacturing Approval (PMA) for its ALPHABEAM® LED Aircraft Landing/Taxi lights to include Hawker Beechcraft King Air models, and several Bellanca model aircraft. 

The ALPHABEAM® incorporates the latest solid state LED technology and is designed for high reliability and long life. Teledyne first introduced the ALPHABEAM® LED Landing/Taxi light in November 2010, leveraging over a decade of LED integration experience with highly efficient patented optical systems.  The ALPHABEAM® is a PAR 36 (4.5”) LED drop-in replacement for GE 4509, 4587, 4591, 4594, 4596 and 4313 lamps.
