AMC Competition Series Goes Global in 2027

The Aerospace Maintenance Council (AMC) announces a major expansion of the AMC Competition in 2027, marking an important milestone in the continued growth of the series. In 2027, the AMC Competition will return to both MRO Americas and VERTICON, continuing the momentum of the series and its role in showcasing aviation maintenance skill, education, and workforce development. In addition to its North American events, the AMC Competition Series will expand internationally for the first time.

In 2027, AMC will launch its inaugural international competition at MRO Asia-Pacific in Singapore, scheduled for Sept. 21-23, 2027. The expansion brings the AMC Competition to a global stage and reflects the growing international importance of aviation maintenance education and workforce development. AMC also announces Pratt & Whitney as the presenting partner of the AMC Competition at MRO Asia-Pacific. Pratt & Whitney’s support will help launch the international debut of the series and underscores the company’s commitment to strengthening the global aviation maintenance workforce.

Both North American competitions will once again be presented by Snap-on. The AMC Competition at MRO Americas is confirmed for April 13-15, 2027, in Orlando. Details for VERTICON 2027 will be available at this year’s VERTICON.

Over the past decade, the AMC Competition Series has grown into a premier platform highlighting the technical excellence, professionalism, and teamwork of aviation maintenance students and professionals. The 2027 expansion represents the next phase of that growth, extending the series’ impact beyond North America and into the global aviation community. As planning continues, AMC is seeking founding sponsors and partners interested in helping shape the inaugural international competition and supporting the continued evolution of the AMC Competition Series.
