Description:Aerotek is currently seeking several Sheetmetal Mechanics to support large MRO facility based out of Bridgeport, WV.Specifically, this position will be supporting Bombardiers Service Center at the West Virginia Air Center.Due to growing business demands, additional lines of maintenance being added, and inspection work, Bombardier is looking to add personnel to their staff to deal with the spikes they will experience in the next 2-3 weeks.Basic job description is listed below for the Sheetmetal Mechanics:Remove and install aircraft components, landing gear doors, access panels, and fairings on aircraft as they relate to structure repair/modification or obstruction of tasks assigned document work performed per appropriate manuals perform component repairs in accordance with Repair Station Certificate as required fabricate aircraft parts and ground support equipment per engineering drawings and specifications as required fabricate and install structural modifications on aircraft assist in conducting hidden damage inspection apply cleaning solvent and proper sealing compound according to maintenance and structural repair manuals, engineering manuals comply with all environmental health and safety policies and procedures including but not limited to, Safety Manual Section 1225 inspect parts including warranty inspection for warranty consideration as required by site.Bombardiers facility in West Virginia is a cental Service Center for their CRJ 200, 400, 700, and 900 series aircraft.This is one of their most profitable centers in their network and the job will be supporting huge / sustainable spikes in business.They predominately service Regional carriers such as PSA, Mesa, Air Wisconsin, and Pinnacle.Basic pre-reqs the Sheetmetal Mechanics must have include the followingKnowledge of reading and interpreting aircraft blueprints, drawings, diagrams and manuals, working knowledge of aircraft systems and manuals necessary to perform job knowledge of maintenance manuals, parts catalog, applicable FAA documents knowledge in fabrication of sheet metal and/or composite components and assemblies, aircraft parts and ground support equipment skill to troubleshoot and repair aircraft deficiencies and to perform complex structural repairs on aircraft skill to proficiently operate basic sheet metal support equipment.Skills:Structures,Fabricate,Install,Blueprints,ModificationsTop Skills Details:Structures, Fabricate, Install, Blueprints, ModificationsAdditional Skills & Qualifications:quot;Aquot; or quot;A &Pquot; licenses not required but highly desired.Will accept non-licensed candidates with significant previous experience.Experience Level:Entry LevelAbout Aerotek:We know that a companys success starts with its employees.
