The F-15 EPAWSS Modification team is seeking a modification team electrician for Eglin AFB, FLRESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:• The candidate selected: is able to perform connector terminations including shielded wires, coaxial cables, and fiber optic wiring. • Ability and understanding of routing instructions and handling of harnesses. • Perform efforts associated with sealing, wrapping, bonding, tying, and closure of wire harnesses and cables in accordance with standard processes. • Demonstrates the capability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specification, and retrofit requirements to perform electrical modification/repair. • Experienced in the use of tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot level modification and repair of electrical wiring. Performs aircraft and component operational checks. Inspects and operates powered and non-powered aerospace ground equipment. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):• Previous experience as F-15 modification electrician. • Applicant must include current security clearance and date on resume. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):• Experience performing F-15 aircraft and component operational checks. TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or GED and typically 4 or more years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
