A P Technician - Piston Aircraft

ATP Flight School is seeking quality Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to join our growing team. We need A P mechanics that can fit in quickly, have a positive attitude, and have General Aviation experience working on piston powered aircraft; preferably Cessna 172, Piper PA-28, and Piper PA-44.

This candidate will be responsible for performing aircraft line troubleshooting and systems installations in accordance with the rules and regulations set forth by the FAA and Phoenix Air Group.

An A P mechanic inspects, services and repairs airplanes to ensure they're operating correctly and safely. A mechanic is responsible for ensuring that airplanes get regular maintenance and that any problems are fixed correctly. Mechanics may work on different parts of an aircraft, such as the engine, landing gear, brakes and pumps and other aircraft components.

Plans and performs installation of mechanical structural modifications, preventative maintenance, repair of mechanical and structural components on military and commercial aircraft.
Duties:

SUMMARY:
The Sheetmetal Technician II works under general supervision to safely layout, fabricate, and install parts, equipment and fabricated items on aircraft following established operating procedures. All work performed should be in accordance with company design specifications, quality standards and completed work should meet customer expectations.

The majority of work will be airframe repairs on all types of general aviation aircraft at our location in central Arkansas. In addition to repairs and maintenance, there will also be many opportunities to travel nationwide transporting aircraft. We are a major sheet metal repair facility and are searching for A P's with sheet metal experience or who are able to learn.
