The Aircraft Mechanic I Power Plants F-18 services, repairs and overhauls aircraft to engines and engine components to ensure airworthiness.  Repairs, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft engines and related components of moderate difficulty, such as installation and removal of QEC gear, replacement of FMU, Fuel Controls, gear boxes utilizing hand tools and power tools.

The Aircraft Mechanic II (Sheetmetal) maintains, modifies, and integrates the aircraft structure and its parts.

Aircraft Mechanic I (UH-60) inspect, train others and perform organizational, intermediate and depot level maintenance/modification on contract units, sub-systems, support equipment and related weapons systems. Advise team members and solve unusual maintenance problems by analysis and test on missiles, airframes, engines, flight control, pneudraulic, fuel, electrical/electronic systems, etc.
