The Aircraft Maintenance Technicians at Aerowood Service Center are responsible for maintaining safety and efficient work by FAA regulations on aircraft for various departments, including but not limited to the flight school fleet, managed customers, charter aircraft, and clients outside of normal operations.

The Simulator Technician maintains and /or repairs flight training devices (FTDs) in accordance with Regulatory Authority requirements and company standards. May also make mechanical modifications, updates and repairs to enhance the performance of the FTDs.
Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Operates surface mount technology (SMT) automatic assembly equipment to produce high quality complex printed circuit board assemblies.
  • Responsible for set-up, operations and routine maintenance.
  • Manually or using semi-automatic equipment screen print solder paste.
