Purpose and Scope

The Electroplating Technician is responsible through the Plating Shop Surface Finish Manager to the Operations Manager for:

Determines and documents the modification status/configuration of products being processed for repair or overhaul to verify compliance to the applicable regulatory and customer requirements.
? Ensures the products to be inspected are sufficiently clean and in acceptable condition to perform the inspections necessary to complete the work instruction.

Receive, inspect and document incoming parts, ensures specification conform to customer Purchase Order. Enter order receipts in Oracle. Raise Change Request if new parts are received.

  • Responsible for immediately reporting flight/product safety concerns.
  • Participates in proactive risk analysis of flight/product safety critical parts and processes.

StandardAero is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Field Service Representative in Plant 3. In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in gas turbine engines, particularly with the LM1600 engine or similar models.

This position will perform troubleshooting, inspections, and routine and non-routine maintenance on customer aircraft in accordance with applicable technical data and customer maintenance program requirements, in estimated or budgeted hours, and within FAA and customer standards of quality.

Through DoD SkillBridge and Hiring Our Heroes, Sierra Nevada Corporation provides internships to service members transitioning to the civilian workforce. These internships include up to six months of on-the-job training for eligible service members.
