The Traveling LUH72 Aircraft Mechanic III  maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures, structural components and engines of complex to extreme difficulty.

Principal Accountabilities
(Typical duties include the following, although specific duties vary by assignment or contract)

The UH-60 Aircraft Mechanic I (UH-60 Mechanic Specialty) troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems. 

The AH64 Aircraft Mechanic I troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems.

The UH-60 A/L/M MTP - Maintenance Test Pilot (UH-60) utilizes flight test techniques to perform test flights of aircraft to measure performance and handling to determine airworthiness following maintenance or modifications.

  • The Corrosion Control Technician is responsible for washing/cleaning and lubrication of the aircraft, complying with corrosion inspections, and identifying/removing/treating corrosion, preparing aircraft and components for painting, performing touch-up painting and the performance of scheduled inspections.
  • Required to inspect and correct corrosion intrusion.

Maintenance Administration Specialist Performs administrative and clerical duties using computer software, typewriter and other associated equipment. Processes, screens, verifies, and records and reports in support of the maintenance department. Provides technical assistance, guidance and instruction to customers and employees in regard to maintenance documentation.

Non-Destructive Inspection Technician Performs inspection of aircraft, engines and ground support equipment for structural integrity using non-destructive inspection methods and performs fluid analysis.Principal Accountabilities

The Transport Aircraft Mechanic AM-3 (King Air/C-12 AP) Performs organizational and intermediate level maintenance on King Air 200/350/1900 and/or C-12 aircraft. 

The Transport Aircraft Mechanic AM-1 (FAA AP)- Performs organizational and intermediate level maintenance on King Air 200/350/1900 and/or C-12 aircraft. Is responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, repairing and modifying aircraft systems to ensure continued airworthiness. These tasks are performed on avionics electrical systems, engines, flight controls and airframe components.

The F-18 Aircraft Mechanic II (Airframe) is required to maintain and service the applicable aircraft airframe and hydraulic systems/components as required in support of the program in accordance with applicable publications and governing instructions.Principle Accountabilities

The Aircraft Mechanic I F-18 Power Plants services, repairs and overhauls aircraft to engines and engine components to ensure airworthiness.  Repairs, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft engines and related components of moderate difficulty, such as installation and removal of QEC gear, replacement of FMU, Fuel Controls, gear boxes utilizing hand tools and power tools.
