Helimax Aviation, Inc. is seeking a First Mechanic to join the team. The successful candidate will supervise junior Mechanics on their shift and assist fellow team mechanics in all phases of aircraft maintenance and maintenance planning to meet goals and schedule deadlines as required.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Bonds a variety of dissimilar materials (composite, metal, or laminate) assemblies, parts, skins, components, equipment or structures into semi-finished or finished products. Lays out articles, and cuts parts or materials to size.
  • Applies liquid or solid bonding agents.
  • Operates autoclave, hydraulic presses, and ovens to complete bonding cycle.

Tyonek Services Group will provide field maintenance (to include phase maintenance and special inspections), limited sustainment level repair, aviation maintenance management, embedded support to the TDD-A/SID's Flight Test Division, prototype development of systems and products, and aircraft modifications and upgrades.
