Southern Star Aviation is seeking a FAA licensed Airframe Power Plant Mechanic experienced in General Aviation aircraft from small single engine to light twin engine aircraft. Turbine/jet experience is a plus. Ideal candidate must have have an eye for confirming quality work is performed and will be a self-starter with the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair problems on their own.

The Aircraft Mechanic-Powerplant performs organizational, intermediate and limited depot level maintenance to include inspection, operational test, repair, modification and troubleshooting on all assigned aircraft, components and equipment.
