Thrust Institute of Maintenance is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Airframe and Powerplant (A P) Instructor to join our esteemed faculty team. As an A P Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of aviation by imparting your expertise and passion for aircraft maintenance to aspiring professionals.
Responsibilities:

Provides work direction to technicians. Ensures completion of tasks within allotted time frame. Coordinates with and assists other departments to ensure on-time delivery of aircraft.
Installs/modifies/fabricates wiring and electrical components, fixtures, and associated equipment in accordance with blueprints, worksheets, engineering drawings.

  • 4+ years of on-aircraft heavy structures experience. Please clearly indicate on your resume your aircraft platform experience and years of experience with aircraft heavy structures.
  • Demonstrated experience on close tolerance drilling, reaming, removal, and installation to critical support structures including doublers, triplers, seat tracks, planks, stringers, etc.

Ensure assigned inspection and maintenance projects are carried out efficiently. Maintenance tasks will normally be completed through assigning, leading and guiding less experienced mechanics. Execute complex maintenance tasks and inspections. Direct other mechanics and technicians to ensure tasks are completed in a timely fashion.
