The UH-60 Aircraft Mechanic AM-II performs the full range of military tactical aircraft maintenance and maintains repairs and troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for support of highly sensitive HQ USAF operational plans and safe air transportation for Cabinet Members, senior military leaders, and visiting foreign dignitaries.

The Avionics Technician installs, inspects, tests, adjusts, or repairs avionics equipment, such as radar, communications, navigation, and instrument systems assigned CBP aircraft.Principal Accountabilities:

Purpose and Scope: Responsible for inspecting, training personnel, and performing organizational, intermediate and depot level maintenance/modification on contract units, sub-systems, support equipment and related weapons system.

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Performs non-destructive tests (NDT) and determines product acceptability to the authorized limits of the NDT level obtained in accordance with prescribed methods and procedures
  • Records, organizes and evaluates test results and enter results into applicable documents
  • Must have 2 years of experience
  • Airbus experience is a plus
  • Tools are needed
  • Must be able to pass DOT drug screen
  • Must be able to work any shift

Performs scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, to include repairs, modifies aircraft structures, structural components and engines of complex to extreme difficulty, maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components, and applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant

  • Pay is based on experience

Summary:
