If you take pride in your work, want a challenge that inspires your best ideas, and enjoy being part of a winning team, this is the place for you.We are currently searching for the right talent to fill this opportunity:Aircraft Mechanic(U.S. Citizenship Required*)Seymour Johnson AFB, NC2018-7370Responsibilities:•Assemble, disassemble and/or modify systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes. •Oversee assembly, disassembly or overhaul. •Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment. •Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components. •Perform validation/verification testing of systems and components. •Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results). •Inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness requirements. •Perform efforts associated with sealing, painting, shimming, and preserving structure in accordance with standard repair processes.•Work under general direction.

Requirements: 

Qualification:•Required #8211; active Interim Secret clearance. Candidates without this clearance or higher will not be considered.•Willing to travel on short notice. Refusal will be considered as self-termination.•Owns personal standard tools and personal safety shoes compliant with ANSI standards.•Willing to work nights and overtime as required on short notice•Able read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specification, and retrofit requirements to perform structural modification/repair. •Experienced using tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot level modification and repair of structural parts. •Able to perform close tolerance drilling, reaming, removal, and installation to critical support structures and fracture critical areas. •Able to/understands locating blind holes for installing new structural items to existing structure. *U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract. Education and Experience: •High school diploma or GED and typically 4 or more years#8217; related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
