You#8217;ll support ECS bay removals and installation, engine turn/run experience and previous qualification, and hydraulic/coolant tubing installation capability. Responsibilities:•Assemble, disassemble, and/or modify systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes. •Troubleshoot complex hydraulic, pneudraulic, and air systems to isolate mechanical faults and repair faulty components. •Carry out functional operations checks to test systems and components. •Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results). •Inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness requirements. •Work under general direction.•May be asked to travel to other locations.•Per diem is an option for those who meet the requirements.
Qualification:•Required #8211; active Interim Secret clearance. Candidates without this clearance or higher will not be considered.•Possess own hand tools•Willing to work any shift and overtime as required.•Skills specific to general aircraft maintenance and operations to include inspection, servicing, modifying, and replacing mechanical and pressurized components. •Knowledge and experience with operational checks to include application of external power, system checks, and towing, parking, and mooring. *U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract. Education and Experience: •High school diploma or GED and typically 4 or more years#8217; related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
