If you take pride in your work, want a challenge that inspires your best ideas, and enjoy being part of a winning team, this is the place for you.We are currently searching for the right talent to fill this opportunity: Aircraft Mechanic - F-15E(U.S. Citizenship Required*)Seymour Johnson AFB, NC2018-7271 This position is designated to support the F-15E Radar Modernization Program (RMP).Responsibilities:•Knowledge of general aircraft systems and subsystems within the F-15E aircraft. •Required to assemble, disassemble, and/or modify systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes. •Oversee assembly, disassembly or overhaul. •Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment. •Troubleshoot complex hydraulic, pneudraulic, and air systems to isolate mechanical faults and repair faulty components. •Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results). •Inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness requirements. •Oversees training and work under general direction.
Qualification:•Must have skills specific to general aircraft maintenance and operations to include inspection, servicing, modifying, and replacing mechanical and pressurized components.•Require knowledge and experience with operational checks to include application of external power, system checks, and towing, parking, and mooring. •Technician will be required to perform validation/verification testing of systems and components via functional operations checks.•Skilled in supporting general aircraft systems and subsystems within the F-15E aircraft.*U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract. Education and Experience: •High school diploma or GED and typically 4 or more years#8217; related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
