Bombardier Aerospace has awarded a five-year LRU service contract to Aerosource Inc.

June 2nd, 2009 – Somerset, New Jersey – Bombardier Aerospace has awarded a five-year LRU service contract to Aerosource Inc. This service contract covers the repair and overhaul of the Air Driven Generator, p/n 756652A, used on the worldwide fleet of Challenger and CRJ aircraft.

Aerosource Inc. is an independently owned and operated aviation component maintenance facility, founded in 1987. Aerosource has been providing repair and overhaul services for Ram Air Turbines and Air Driven Generators manufactured by commercial OEMs since 2000. Through an acquisition in 2006, Aerosource became the OEM for the DC10 and MD11 Air Driven Generator, and various other components (inclusive of Ram Air Turbines) with both military and commercial application.
