Canada CAMC announces Career Focus Wage Subsidy

The Canadian Aviation Maintenance Councel, CAMC, announces the Career Focus Wage Subsidy program is accepting new participants!  The Career Focus project is a great way for employers to hire new post-secondary graduates and receive funding of up to 1/3 of their first year’s salary, to a maximum of $12,500!!

There are a limited number of spaces available!  Call or email soon and submit your new hire to the program!

 Eligible Participants

  1. Must be a post secondary graduate: Pilots, AMTs, HR, CSR’s etc.
  2. Must be a Canadian Citizen, a permanent resident, or a person who has been granted refugee status in Canada
  3. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  4. Cannot receive employment insurance benefits during their participation in the program
  5. Must be between 15 and 30 years of age

 Eligible Employers

  1. Inform potential participants of what participation in the program would entail, and retain agreement from participants
  2. Provide participants the opportunity for full time work for at least four (4) months
  3. Provide wage/payroll data to CAMC as required, typically once per month.
